Acting in accordance with law and order - that is the maxim of our actions and our corporate culture. Interenergo and its mother company Kelag are taking measures to ensure compliance with legal framework conditions as well as internal guidelines and ethical standards. The aim of the Group-wide compliance system is to increase the awareness of management and employees of legal dangers so that the likelihood of legal violations in Interenergo and its subsidiaries is kept as low as possible and thus sustainably safeguarded the company's value. For us, compliance also means adhering to ethical principles that apply to our Group and to which we have voluntarily submitted.
Since 2014, the compliance management system of Kelag and its subsidiaries has been certified according to ONR 192050 and since 2016 also to ISO 19600: Austrian Standards - Fair Business Compliance Certificate.
The certified CMS essentially comprises the following compliance risk areas: anti-corruption law, data protection law, Antitrust Law, UWG (Law against Unfair Competition) and Public Procurement Law. The certificate confirms that the certificate holder has implemented an effective CMS comprising said compliance risk areas and meets the requirements of the reference document. The audit is conducted annually by Austrian Standards plus GmbH.
