For Land owners

We are looking for land suitable for solar or wind power plants

Interenergo is building a resilient and sustainable energy system for a green Europe. We are investing in the construction and management of power that generates electricity from renewable energy sources. Our focus are wind and solar power systems

As we are expanding our renewable energy portfolio we are in search of suitable land or areas in Southeastern Europe where we could install new solar or wind power plants.

"Farmers, private owners, municipalities, or companies with suitable land are invited to contact us. We can collaborate with landowners either as a business partner — where we develop projects in cooperation with you — or we buy or lease your land for future wind or solar projects. Selling or leasing suitable land can provide landowners with an additional revenue stream. Our projects are professionally executed within designated timeframes, with a focus on delivering long-term positive impacts for the environment, our partners, and our customers.

Do you, your company, or the municipality own suitable land?

FAQs

For wind power plants, it is important that the land is not in proximity of living areas (villages, towns, hamlets) and that it has wind potential. We prioritize degraded land or areas, including abandoned technological or industrial areas, as well as land along railways or highways. Additionally, agricultural land can be utilized for wind power plants.

Suitable land for solar projects should measure more than 10,000 square meters and should be positioned near a substation or an industrial area. We are looking for degraded land or areas, such as abandoned technological or industrial areas, land along railway or highway. Buildings with large roof areas are also suitable.

We are open to both possibilities — buying the land or renting it for a longer period of time (at least 20 years). Our team assesses the land — its potential — and discusses cooperation possibilities with the landowner.

The usual lease period is 20 years, which also means long-term guaranteed income for the landowner. Shorter lease periods are not possible due to the nature of technology and its life cycle.

The first and most crucial piece of information for assessment is the land use designation. This information, provided by the landowner, gives us details about the location of the plot, its intended purpose, and its precise size and shape. Additionally, it is equally important to evaluate the sun/wind potential, distance from residential areas and hamlets, as well as the proximity to the electricity grid.

Starting the land assessment process is simple. Just click on the contact form provided, fill in the requested information, and submit the form. Once we receive your information, we will assess it and provide you with initial feedback on the suitability of your land for a solar or wind project. We'll then discuss the next steps with you.
